#HyperTrackSagunto was the small-scale demonstration of a hyperloop technology subsystem being developed by the Tech Department for our given land in the port of Sagunto. It took a long time to get past bureaucracy and once everything was set and approved the whole construction happened faster than I can comprehend.
These videos capture that process, and are most of the RRSS videos I did. Many of these shots were, unfortunately, recycled by petition (many times) and because of that I won’t be adding as many examples as I’d like to. I’m not too fond of recycling footage.
To make these videos I used my Fuji XT3, drone, studio lights, stabilizer, driver’s license, Blender, After Effects, Premiere Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Audition, royalty free videos and music.
Shirtum is a Sports Crypto Marketplace based in Barcelona.
They asked me to do a futbol juggle world and propose a new intro for their rugby videos based on their existing futbol intro.
For the juggle I simply tracked and animated the ball with a sphere and for the rugby video I filmed myself and then animated the rugby ball in Blender and did the extra work in After Effects.
A selection of photos taken during the day-to-day of my colleagues at Zeleros. These were used both externally and internally.
I’m not the best photographer when it comes to capturing human beings but thankfully my colleagues are extremely photogenic; that makes my job much easier.
The first photo is me, taken by my colleague Empar.
This was one of the first big projects they had for me and it was to showcase the workplace culture and daily activities. Of course this was mostly focused on the tech department and a bit of the business department.
I was helped by my manager to setup different “acting sessions” to get the perfect shots and then I planned different individual (and a bit more casual) shots to fit in X or Y situation. I also used some videos I had recorded in the past weeks or months.
For this project I used my Fuji XT3, done, studio lights, stabilizer, Premiere, After Effects, and Audition.
Some gifs I made for Ashley, the furniture store.
A coworker asked me for the “method” of taking pictures to make stopmotion, then gave the pictures to me for animation.
I put everything together in After Effects. All of this project was done in a hurry and unfortunately never saw the light of day.
HL-Powertrain was one of Zeleros’ small-scale hyperloop demonstrators. For this video my colleagues Germán and Ingrid contacted each partner and arranged both a script and meeting so that I could record their testimonials about how they participated in each key part of this subsystem.
This happened at Zeleros’ Lab in Paterna and I used my Fuji XT3, Premiere, After Effects, and Audition.
This timelapse took around 2 hours to complete.
By the time I was testing out the Magic Lantern Firmware because my Canon didn’t have the intervalometer function. I had already ran some tests but each used a different setting to achieve a better result.
This time I noticed how beautiful were the clouds moving that day, and had to capture it. And didn’t noticed until when I was editing the photos that my cat was walking around but fortunately out of focus.
Here are some of the videos I did while working with Zeleros. To watch my most recent Editing Reel where I include all of them click here and throughout the index of my Photo-Video Portfolio you’ll find independent info about each video.
These videos will also be available with a process of their own, although the formula is almost the same for every one.
At the beginning I was asked to choose a simple camera for “some fotos and a video every now and then, but it’s not common” and so I considered a bridge camera to be the most fitting for what they told me, but things took an unexpected change quickly so I had to switch to my own camera which allowed for absolute control of the situation both technically and creatively.
It’s not like the Sony RX10iv they had is bad, but I found it extremely limiting. So using my Fuji XT3 was the way to go.
More equipment that I used involves a drone, camera stabilizer, lights, bouncers, and safety boots.
Unfortunately there are a couple of videos that were never released to the public and I can’t showcase here.
Just a quick test drive of the Mavic Pro. This was done the very first day of the Mavic at the place I was working for that time. I was a couple of weeks old into piloting drones and was given the honour to fly it for the first time.
Thanks Mr. Jackson
Every year a big group of my mother’s family rents an estate for the weekend, and the nights are clear enough to achieve some nice pictures.
For this timelapse I also used Magic Lantern, which had much better settings than my out-of-warranty Canon,
Back in college we borrowed a Blackmagic Cinema Camera to film a big homework project, and after finishing I asked a friend to take a video of me in reverse. Then take a couple of closer stills for the inwards transition.
Done in After Effects, I used some very simple effects and overlays for the colours and a Kaleido script for the trip. Then the tube-thing was done with Particular then turned to a Ripple Coordinates texture for a 3D cylinder.
Rickhouse Media is a Marketing Agency based in San Francisco.
They asked for a promo of their newest client (around that time) called Ministry of Supply. They sent me the footage and I built everything in Premiere.
This project was really simple, I had to define a good location for the interviews and match the lighting because they were done throughout the week and at different times. I took full advantage of the natural light and only used the studio lights to reduce shadows.
I used my Fuji XT3, studio lights, lavalier, Premiere and Audition.
20-08-2019 captured under a very cloudy sky, it took around 2 hours of repositioning the camera to achieve this.
I used Lightroom for the color correction which was later stepped on by the instagram filter I used.
A brief collection of photos, I’ve always been interested in capturing textures, depth, and shapes. That has been pre-programmed in my brain for the longest time.
These were mostly taken with a Canon T3i and a Fujifilm XT3. For the last few months I’ve been trying to edit my pictures as if they were taken with a film camera.
Do check my main instagram for more.
Simplexia is a music label with whom I’ve worked doing small simple projects, this like merch promo done for instagram. I was getting out of hand with my ideas because in the end they told me “a plastic look would be cooler, better”, so, Eevee solved this.
It was done in Blender for the cloth simulation (freeze frame) and animation, Photoshop for the textures, and After Effects for the particles and comp.
For this video I was given a huge folder with old footage (by a late colleague) and the only footage that I recorded was Juan’s part.
This project was done with Premiere, Audition and After Effects.
Oradel was a recurrent client from a job I had, but was never involved in those projects. The only time I was asked to do something for them was this outro, using all of the videos my coworker had made for them.
Done in After Effects, I made a collage of the videosat different timestamps and masked out the ORADEL logo
